Marketing Restrictions

Alternative investment fund managers ("AIFMs") are only permitted to market an AIF in the UK with prior notification to the FCA, to professional investors as defined in the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive 2011/61/EC ("AIFMD") as incorporated by the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Regulations 2013. The Firm is the AIFM for the purposes of AIFMD for each AIF that the Firm manages and therefore any marketing of those AIFs will be done in accordance with AIFMD, but subject to certain exemptions and modifications provided by the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 following Brexit.
